It is with great, great sadness that I have lost one of my dearest friend in Norm. He was the most dedicated person that would drive me to see my girlfriend in Niagara Falls in the mid 60's in his 1958 black Oldsmobile that he loved to drive.
I found out too late about the visit and the Mass and that will bother me for a long time.
He also drove me to the church on my Wedding day. I saw him less and less in the last few years especially since Covid.
For a long time Norm and Rachelle and the kids would stop by on Christmas day and visit with our family. They were a great loveable couple. With all of his generosity and kindness I hope to think that Norm found his final stay at the right hand of the Father.

I first met Norm at Peninsula Lakes back in the 80's but didn't know him well. We got re-acquainted this year at Carinal Lakes and, fortunately, I got to know him a little better. I only got to play golf with Norm twice--once at Pen Lakes in the match play and once at Cardinal Lakes in the Senior Ryder Cup. Both times we had a relaxed round with a lot of laughs. I joined Cardinal Lakes this year and was lucky enough to join Norm's Wednesday league. He was continuously kidding me and saying he was tired of giving me money every week. I suggested to him that he could put a stop to that by putting me on his team. He got a kick out of that and put me on his team for the final week of the league. Unfortunately, I had to cancel that round due to illness and never got to play with him again although we vowed to play together next year. Sadly, I won't get that pleasure. Norm was a huge part of the fun at Cardinal Lakes, was loved by all. and will be greatly missed by everyone. Rest in peace my friend. I know you'll find lots of birdies where you're going.
