Armand and Florianne Gervais
Mr. and Mrs. Gervais built the funeral home and opened the doors in January 1966. With an exceptional work ethic and a dedication to serving their community they grew a successful business which we are honored and grateful to carry on since their retirement in 2006. Their values and vision for the funeral home have been instilled in us and we pride ourselves in serving every family with Integrity, Compassion and Exceptional Service. Because of them, our family has been serving local families for over 55 years.
Senior Funeral Director/Owner
A lifelong resident of Welland, Roger attended local schools in the french community and received his funeral director license from Humber College in 1991. Roger worked alongside his dad in the funeral home for fifteen years before taking over the reigns on his dad's retirement in 2006. The Gervais family is proud and grateful to have served our community for over 55 years. Roger is married to Vickie and together they have two sons Danniel (Destanee) and Joshua (Alexandra) and they are blessed with three beautiful grandsons Maxton, Jarrett and Logan.
Tianna was born and raised in Welland. When choosing a profession, being in a career that made a difference in the lives of others was an unwavering must. While in her high school years at École Secondaire Catholique Jean-Vanier she participated in the co-operative education program at a funeral home in Fonthill. This experience cemented her desire to become a Funeral Director. She moved to Toronto to study Funeral Services at Humber College in 2013. Tianna continued to gain valuable knowledge and grew into a Funeral Director through her internship. After graduation from Humber College in 2016, Tianna returned to Niagara to be close to her family.
Tianna and her significant other Greg moved in together in 2019. They have two fur-babies; Siris and Luci.
Tianna is passionate about helping others, and wants to be able to make a difference in people’s lives when they need extra care and attention, especially when someone experiences the death of a loved one. She is honoured to serve families in Niagara and looks forward to continue her role as a Funeral Director at The Welland Funeral Home.

Since joining our team in 2015, Jennifer has helped us in supporting our families with her compassionate heart and her impeccable attention to details. Jennifer is excited to continue her journey in funeral service, as she recently completed the Funeral Pre-Planner course at Humber College with honors and she will be writing her board exam later this year.
Funeral Director Assistant
Retiring from a career in sales in 2017, Cal joined our team at the funeral home in September 2019. He is an integral part of maintaining the funeral home inside and out and we greatly appreciate his strong work ethic and commitment. He enjoys golf, reading, gardening and indulges in all things pertaining to home repairs. He's a great addition to our family and has a genuine passion for helping the families we serve.

In addition to being tech savvy, Danniel has a background in graphic design and we are grateful for his help in rebranding the Funeral Home in recent months. He is also the creator of our new logo that we are very proud of. Danniel is a lifelong resident of Welland. A graduate of Notre Dame and Niagara College. He is the proud father of Maxton and fiancé of Destanee.
