van Lanen Family Our deepest condolences to Christine’s family. As a neighbour and friend I had the privilege of seeing Christine’s warm smile each day. We walked and talked and she was the treat lady to our dog Rosie. We miss her smile and I know all the dogs in the neighbourhood miss her too. Rest easy my friend Cliff and Leslie Hardy and Rosie too xo.

I don't even know where to begin. My heart is broken. Christine was a Special Friend who was always there for me. This included our many conversations at work to her visiting me when I had ankle surgery ( she even made me a crochet sock to protect my toes from getting cold. Her Love for her Family and Friends was the Greatest gift. Recently I was able to visit Christine in the Hospital and we always made each other laugh. I had bought her some vanilla hand lotion and she loved the smell so much that she put it on her hands, arms and legs and I joked with her about how everyone kept coming into her room because all the other rooms smelled. On our last conversation we always told each other that we Loved each other and as I turned around to say bye she blew me a kiss. I will treasure that air kiss and know that one day I will see Christine again. Rest in Peace my dear friend.

Dearest Van Lanen family, I wanted to express my deepest condolences to your family for the loss of your most beautiful and cherished Sister, Mother, Daughter and Friend.
