My condolences to Geralds mother and brother and his family. I am saddened by the loss of my friend. Gerald was a true friend and valued friendship over most. He was loyal and caring. Always smiling and making sure you were happy. I will miss him

I am so truly sorry to learn of the loss of Gerald.
To share my connection to Gerald - I first met Gerald in March 2000 in Daytona Beach, Florida. His hotel room was connected to our hotel room, and we became fast friends. As it turned out, Gerald was neighbours with my good friend, Diana, and he also went to high school with my cousin, Karen.
We remained close when we returned to St. Catharines and my friends and I spent many days//nights with Gerald and his crew (Chris, Tom). I went to Gerald's prom with him at Holy Cross and we had a fantastic time riding around in the limo and partying it up at the Americana in Niagara Falls. Whether it was driving around in his sunfire, going for swims at his dad's place in Welland, hanging around port dalhousie or clifton hill - he was always loads of fun. I will always remember his sarcastic sense of humour. I can still hear him....
although i haven't talked to Gerald in quite a few years, i have thought of him often and whenever i do i smile thinking of all the good times we've had. RIP Gerald. I'm so sad to see you go so soon. XO
