Paul Bramer posted a condolence
Aunt Dorothy and her family were a positive presence in my life ever since I can remember. My mom spoke of her sister and after our 2 families moved into the Burlington-Oakville area (along with their older sister, Ethel, and her family in Oakville/Mississaiga), there were numerous gatherings and visits. For all the hospitality and meals, thank you Aunt Dorothy. Your legacy is in you children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. With fond remembrances, Paul (and Marlene) Bramer

Dear cousins...I had a wonderful visit with your mom about 10 days ago. So sorry to hear the news, but she had told me she was ready to head home to heaven. Blessings during this time of lost.

Mom Simpson was always so kind to me and immediately made me feel welcome to the Simpson 'clan'. I especially treasure the memory of our occasional lunch 'dates' when she was relaxed and shared stories about her early life, meeting your dad and all of you (my lips are sealed :). Those were special moments. Thinking of you all and sending warm and comforting hugs your way.

Lorraine posted a condolence
In 1980 when we moved to Burlington, I was a young mom, and pregnant with our 3rd daughter. Dorothy was a wise, mature mom with a kind heart. She was always ready with encouragement and wisdom, and willing to gently share her experiences without pushing or making me feel guilty; a great asset to me as a Christian and a mother. God bless you, Chris and Rob, with His joy and peace. Love, Lorraine.
