In Loving Memory of Edith (Lapointe) Audette, Bosse
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Edith (Lapointe) Audette, Bosse, who peacefully left this world on November 4th, 2023, at the remarkable age of 103, at Woodlands of Sunset. Edith was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, sister, and friend. Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved her.
Throughout her life, Edith was married to two loving husbands, Robert Audette and Napoleon Bosse. She now joins them in eternal rest, reunited once more.
Edith was born to Ovide and Maria Lapointe, and she was one of seven siblings. She was preceded in death by her two brothers and four sisters, leaving a void in the hearts of those who remain. Edith leaves behind her dear sister Noella Rodrigue whom she loved dearly.
Throughout her long and meaningful life, Edith was a devoted mother to her children, the late Gisele Laprise (2020), Colette Brownrigg (John), Helene Narbonne (Fernand), and Pauline Jones (Richard). Her love and care for her family were unwavering and will be fondly remembered.
Edith was a loving grandmother to Robert, Michele, Renee, Linda, the late Leslie-Anne, Marc, Denis, Paul, and Diane. Her guidance and affection left an indelible mark on their lives.
Her legacy extends further, as she was the great-grandmother of 20 and the great-great-grandmother of 3. Her family was her pride and joy, and she treasured each generation that followed her.
Edith also leaves behind two sisters-in-law Therese Audette and Gemma Audet, many nieces, nephews and devoted caregivers at the Woodlands of Sunset who treated her with respect, love and dignity, throughout her stay with them, we truly appreciate your devotion and tenderness.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Woodlands of Sunset, two causes close to Edith's heart.
The WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE is entrusted with honoring Edith's final wishes. A service to celebrate her remarkable 103 years of life will be held at Église du Sacré-Coeur at a later date when family and friends can gather to pay their respects and celebrate a life well-lived.
As we bid farewell to Edith (Lapointe) Audette, Bosse, we hold onto the cherished memories and the profound love she shared with all of us. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and friends, and her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives.
