Obituary of Roland Brochu

Obituary It is with saddened hearts we announce Roland's death on February 26, 2019 at the age of 96. Devoted husband of the late Gisèle (née Lapointe). Loving father of Fleurette (Roger) Morissette, Claudette (Lucien) Lavallière, Denis (Marie) Brochu, Marlene (Denis) Noël, Lise (Terry) Rioux and Norm (Sandi) Brochu. He will be sadly missed by his 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brother Leo (Dawn) Brochu, brothers-in-law Donald (Marianne) Lapointe and Fernand Lapointe, sisters-in-law Florence Brochu and Gemma Lapointe. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Saturday, March 9, 2019 from 9 - 11 a.m. Funeral Service will be held at Paroisse Sacré Coeur, 72 Empire St., Welland at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers as an expression of sympathy, donations by cheque to Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
