Obituary of Daniel Ross MacLean
Dan Maclean started his short journey with his family in Halifax, Nova Scotia and ended it with his loving wife Krystle MacLean (née Deavu), in Welland, Ontario. After a short but serious fight with illness, Dan lost his battle on July 9, 2023, at the age of 47.
Dan leaves behind his loving parents Mike and Linda MacLean. Forever in the hearts of his sister Melodie (Victor) MacLean and his brother Mike (Nadine) MacLean. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephew, great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous friends who will miss his dimpled smile and his many teasing’s. Dan now joins his brother Lenny MacLean in Heaven.
Dan had many things he loved to do but getting out with friends “quading” would probably be his favorite. The trails will not feel the same for his friends without his laughter.
Dan met his wife in 2009. They were very happily married in a beautiful outdoor wedding beside Lake Erie, on August 12, 2012. They lived a happy life together in Welland for the past 11 years. Dan and Krystle spent most of their lives together laughing. They filled their home with lots of love and pets that made their lives, and hearts, feel very full.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Keeping with Dan’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Donations made to Diabetes Canada in Dan’s honour, would be appreciated by the family.
