Obituary of Peter Danch
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peter A. Danch, on March 29, 2023, at the age of 62. Pete was a devoted husband to Lise Danch (née Turpin). Beloved father of Dylan Danch (Kate) and Kyle Danch (Missy). He will be sadly missed by his 2 granddaughters; Mia and Logan. He is survived by step-mother Christianne Danch, and his sisters; Stephanie Fulop (A.J.), Carolann Danch (Ian Darby), and Andrea Carvalho (Herb). Peter will be greatly missed by many nieces and nephews. Peter was predeceased by his mother Gloria Danch (née Baccaria) and his father Steve Danch.
Peter had an infectious laugh and smile that could brighten a room. He enjoyed fishing, camping at Long Beach and long bike rides. His favourite pastime was building that campfire that everyone loved. He was a social butterfly.
A special thank you to the Palliative Care Team and Paramed; Jocelyn, Kim and Amanda for helping Pete through this journey. Also, a special thank you to Dr. Lalani and his team from Juravinski Hospital, and Dr. S. Lawrence for all his support.
WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE have had the honour of serving Peter and his family. In accordance with Pete’s wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Club Richelieu, 565 River Rd., Welland for a Celebration of Life on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. A private ceremony and inurnment will take place at a later date. Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or your local Animal Shelter would be appreciated by the family.
