Obituary RISTAN - Herman "Bud" 1928- 2019 At his residence on April 23, 2019, Herman "Bud" Ristan passed away at the age of 90. Devoted husband of the late Lorette (Larouche) Ristan 2014. Loving father of Alfred Ristan. Herman will be missed by his sister Georgina Nelson (the late Ron) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Edouard and Teresa Ristau and his siblings; Edith, Frederick and Elsie. A veteran in the Korean war, Herman was a 70 year member of the Royal Canadian Legion. He was an active member of the Bellerophon Drum & Bugle Band and the Royal Canadian Legion Cribbage League. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and again on Friday, May 3, 2019 from 1 until the Legion service at 2 p.m. followed by a funeral service. Interment will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion will be appreciated by the family.
