Obituary of Jane Gray Mills
Mills, Jane Gray (nee Lunn), in her 65th year, passed away on Monday, September 5th peacefully at home surrounded by her family after a brief battle with cancer.
Jane was born in Welland, Ontario to Earl and Kathleen Lunn. Jane was loved deeply by everyone who knew her. She is survived by her daughters Amanda Mills (Matt), Amy Mills (Scott). She will be sadly missed by her four grandchildren; Dominic, Emilia, Faith, and Damon. Dear sister of Colleen (Brian) Gram, Darlene, Bill (Tiffany) Lunn and she will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Earl (June) Lunn as well as her parents.
Jane was the person that anyone could count on. She was the rock of her family, our inspiration, and a woman who would do anything to help anyone. Jane loved going to Bingo with her friends. She also enjoyed cooking for large family gatherings and would cook her famous cabbage rolls which were delicious. She adored her children and grandchildren. She was most excited about the upcoming birth of her great-grandson.
The family will receive family and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE, 827 East Main Street, Welland on Thursday, September 8, 11:30 am to 12:30 pm followed by a graveside service at Woodlawn Cemetery at 1 pm. Donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
