We remember Aunt Etta so fondly. She had a quick wit and loved to laugh! She sang beautifully and danced too. Watching her and Uncle Pat ballroom dance was inspirational...so graceful!

This remembrance of my fun-loving auntie is from another angle. From her younger days on a farm in Chesley where I can still picture her grabbing the chicken by the head and cutting the head off. And other days where she wld let me play dress ups w her tafetta skirts and cinch belts and high heels. Long ago of course
My sisters and I always enjoyed auntie Etta’s company. Now she is with the Lord

Elaine, I have many wonderful memories. About Aunt Etta and the preparation needed in order to have chicken for dinner (trying to be discreet)...my memory about that was watching Uncle Wesley do the same. For some reason it did not bother me. It was part of life on the farm.
Do you remember when all three of us tried on Etta's wedding gown and none of us could close the back zipper? She was very petite. and adorable.

I am so sorry to hear of Aunt Etta's passing. She exuded a quiet, calm light when you were with her. I am not able to come to the funeral due to a previous commitment. May she rest in peace.

Dear Family of Etta Farwell - We are very sorry to hear of your loss - My Mom - Dorothy Farwell loved to spend time with her when she was able to visit or be a part of a family gathering in the Kitchener, Waterloo or St. Clements area. She was a lovely graceful lady whom you knew when you met her that she was special. We are not able to attend the service as at this time as I am going through Vertigo and am trying to take the recommended time to get better.
