Obituary of Jean Welsh
The Welsh family is deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jean Welsh (née Charette), on June 7, 2022, at the age of 85. Loving wife of the late Tom Welsh. Cherished mother of Yvonne (David) Bellows, Tommy (Yasna) Welsh, Michael Welsh and Kathy (Burke) Noebel. Treasured Nana of Deidre (Jesse), Tyler (Treasa), Greg (Jessica), Kara (Kory) and Briceton. Proud Great-Grandma of her eight great-grandchildren. Forever in the hearts of her siblings Serge, Andrew (Deedee), Lucien (Sharon), Bruno (Shirley) and Julie Munro.
Jean volunteered at Rapelje Lodge for over 20 years. Sharing her time and building friendships along the way. She loved bowling, playing cards and spending time with her friends and family.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street, Welland on Tuesday, June 21, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Donations in honour of Jean, made to Juravinski Cancer Centre or the Niagara SPCA, would be greatly appreciated by the family.
