Obituary of Wayne Michael Broughton
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Wayne Broughton Jr. on Tuesday, May 10th , 2022, at the age of 49. Devoted husband of Betty Jo. Loving father of Sheriece St. Amand (Tyler McClusky) and dear step father of Jaymi and Alex Gelinas. Wayne will be deeply missed by his parents Wayne Broughton Sr and Barbara Kovacs (Larry) along with his brother Steven Broughton and his sister Sherry Sorenson (Mike). He will be fondly remembered by his grandson Jason and his step grandchildren Ethan, Hudson and Sophie. He will be greatly missed by his best friend Brutus. Wayne will also be missed by Betty Jo’s parents Al and Kim Doan his brothers in law Adam and Stephen Doan as well as his nephew and godson Dylan Sorenson and his nieces and nephews, Ferrari, Riley, Jordan and Hennessey. He will hold a special place in the hearts of his Aunts Marlene, Karen and Theresa Bell as well as his uncle Francis Jones. He leaves behind his cousins Kevin Jones, Paul Jones, Connie Sedran, Kerry Hamilton, Frank Adams, Heather Cooke, Shoana Rae and Brian Rae. Wayne was predeceased by his Nana Lily Broughton (Ron Broughton), his grandparents Agnes and James Jones Sr., his uncle James R. Jones Jr. and his brother in law Derek Doan.
