Obituary of Gabrielle Houde
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gabrielle Houde (née Berthelette) on Thursday April 28 2022, at the Foyer Richelieu surrounded by her family, at the age of 98. Cherished mother of Serge (Rollande) Savoie, Richard (Sue) Savoie, Ruth Savoie. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Josee, Chantal, Shawn, Mike, Jason, Jennifer, Tim, Steve, Eric, Nicole and Natalie as well as her 15 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren. Predeceased by her first husband Raymond Savoie, her second husband Réne Houde, her parents Hormidas and Marie Ann Berthelette, her daughter Lucie and son Luc.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street, Welland on Friday May 6 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 12:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Red Roof Retreat would greatly be appreciated by the family.
