Obituary of Réal Bégin
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Réal Bégin on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the Foyer Richelieu surrounded by his family, at the age of 94. Beloved husband of the late Madeleine (née Delisle). Cherished father of Roger (Carol) and Marcel (Diane). Réal will be sadly missed by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Jean-Claude Bégin, Gemma Bertrand, Generia Bégin and Gabrielle Galleti. Predeceased by his parents Georges & Léa (née Lessard) and his siblings; Camille, Noël and Soeur Juliette Bégin.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE 827 East Main Street, Welland on Friday, April 22, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m. Inurnment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Those that attend are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. Donations to Fonds Foyer Richelieu would be appreciated by the family.
