Obituary of Yvette Laroche

Obituary It is with great sadness we announce the death of Yvette Laroche on October 8, 2020 at the age of 96. Beloved wife of the late Real Laroche. Loving mother of Maurice (Pierrette), Marcel (Lezlie), Carmen (Raymond) and Lise (Maurice). She will be missed by her brothers and sisters as well as by her 8 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. Yvette was born in Manchester, USA and moved to Québec then to Welland in 1942, where she worked as caretaker at Vanier School for 14 years. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. In accordance with Yvette’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family service will take place at a later date. Elle laisse dans le deuil, ses enfants; Maurice (Pierrette), Marcel (Lezlie), Carmen (Raymond) and Lise (Maurice). Elle sera manquera beaucoup par ses fières et sœurs. Yvette tiendra une place très précieuse dans le cœur de ses 8 petits-enfants et plusieurs arrière-petits-enfants. Yvette est née à Manchester aux États-Unis et a déménagé à Québec puis à Welland en 1942, où elle a travaillé comme concierge à l'école Vanier pendant 14 ans. Les arrangements funéraires ont été confiés à SALON FUNÉRAIRE WELLAND. Conformément aux souhaits d’Yvette, la crémation a eu lieu. Un service familial privé aura lieu à une date ultérieure.
