Remi Descoteaux

Obituary of Remi Descoteaux

With deeply broken hearts the family of Remi Yvan Descoteaux announce his passing on January 31, 2022, just one day shy of his 35th birthday.

He was a caring son, brother and friend. Remi was often called upon by his friends and family whenever we had a problem because of his ability to fix or figure out anything.

He was a perfectionist and it often took a really long time, but he always figured it out and came through for us.

His favourite pastimes were playing video games, antiquing and collecting. He loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed fishing.

He was an animal lover and his kids were his 2 beautiful cats.

He had a big heart and liked to help others in need.

Cherished son of Daniel and Anny (née Rochefort) Descoteaux. He will be fondly remembered by his only sister Sarah and her partner Chantel Appel.

He will be sadly missed by his grandfather Ronald Daniel, Uncle Dean Rochefort and partner Chelsea, Aunt Jenny Rochefort, Tracy and Linda Daniel, Mike and Candy Daniel, Aunts Simone, Suzanne, and Clemence Descoteaux and numerous cousins, niece, nephew and friends.

He is predeceased by his grandparents Remi and Therese (née Girard) Descoteaux, Yvan Rochefort, Cecile Daniel (Rochefort) and uncles Rejean, Michel, Mario, and Leo Descoteaux.

Donations to the Humane Society would be appreciated due to his love for animals.

May he rest peacefully in the arms of his grandmaman in heaven

We love you Remi xo
