Obituary of Patrick Champagne
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patrick Champagne on January 26, 2022, at the Welland Hospital, at the age of 75. Cherished father of Suzanne (Chris). Treasured son of Jeanne. He will be missed by his 2 grandchildren; Jaime and Lucas McCauley. Dear brother of Réal, Marcel (Elsie), Caroline Charrois (André), Juliette Nolet (Denis) and sister-in-law Nancy. Patrick will also be missed by many nieces and nephews and cousins, especially cousin Carl Michaud. Predeceased by his father Romeo, brothers; Denis, Yvon, Roger (Denise) and brother-in-law Lawrence Paquette.
Pat enjoyed many years of camping at Byng park and will be missed by his camping family. Pat was also a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Keeping with Patrick’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. As expression of sympathy, donations to The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 4 or The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
