Obituary of Rene Laverdière

Rene Laverdiere passed away on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at the St. Catharines General Hospital at the age of 77. Beloved husband of Yollande (Raby) Laverdiere. Cherished father of Stephane (Crystal) Laverdiere and Angele (Michel) Dupuis. Loving grandfather of Matthew (Kayla), Paige (Randy), Olivia, Josiah, Levis, Victoria and Porsha. Dear brother of Denis Laverdiere (Joan), Cecile Lucas (late Gino), Marguerit O’Toole and Emile Laverdiere (Danielle). Brother-in-law of Carol Laverdiere. He was predeceased by his parents Seraphin and Alice Laverdiere, brother Jean-Baptist Laverdiere and sister Pauline Guilmette (late Flo).

Rene was a Faithfull servant of the Lord Jesus Christ and was a long-time member of Beacon Baptist Church.

The family will receive relatives and friends at Beacon Baptist Church, 109 Chaffey Street Welland on Saturday January 22, 2022, from 11am until service time at 12pm followed by interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.
