It’s with broken hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Joe Buote on Sunday January 16th, 2022, at the young age of 51. Joe leaves behind his loving soulmate Rachèle Bruyère, as well as her children Bo, Nathalie & Ashley Cyopick. Also leaving behind his son Jarrod Buote whom he adored, his mother Nancy Fox (Doug), his brother Jason Buote. Predeceased by his Father Jim Buote (Marylou).
If you had the pleasure of knowing Joe then it would have probably been, on the ice, the diamond, the green, on sleds, on the lake or having a “passionate” debate on politics, hockey or anything at his favourite watering holes.
Joe passed away doing what he loved best, woke to perfect snowy conditions busy preparing for a day of ice fishing and sledding. He was in his element.
In keeping with Joe’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a celebration of Joe Buote’s amazing life will take place once COVID restrictions allow the opportunity for all his many, many friends to come together and share stories, memories and celebrate. WELLAND FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTER is honored to be entrusted with Joe’s wishes.
