Obituary of Alex William Falusi
Alex Falusi was a loving husband, father, grandfather, friend and neighbour. He will be sadly missed by all. He was surrounded by his family at his home on Thursday, December 16, 2021, at the age of 85. Alex and Diane (née Parisé) were happily married for nearly 60 years. Their Diamond Anniversary coming on June 9, 2022. Cherished father of Laura Falusi (Tom Rollinson), Lisa Falusi, Kevin Falusi (Tanya Morrison) and grandfather of Adam White (son of Lisa). Caring brother of Elmer (Shirley) Falusi, Joe (Linda) Falusi, Andy Falusi, Barbara (Jim) Barrett and brother-in-law of Adrian Parisé. Predeceased by his parents Michael & Margaret Falusi, as well as his sister Margaret Takacs (Joe).
Alex dedicated 40 years, as the head mechanic, at Atlas Steels. Alex’s smile would make everyone feel his kindness and happiness. He enjoyed going to “the farm” every weekend and spending time with his son/best friend Kevin and daughter-in-law. Many memories of love and laughter were shared. Alex took pride in his garden and enjoyed sharing his bounty. He was always willing to lend a helping hand for his daughters’ Laura and Lisa in a moment’s notice. He was loved by all that knew him.
Arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME CREMATION AND RECEPTION CENTRE. Keeping with Alex’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Sts. Peter and Paul Church, 300 Chaffey St., Welland. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, capacity limits are in effect at the Church. Please click the R.S.V.P. link through our website to schedule your attendance.
