I have fond memories of playing Rimoli with Uncle Norm at my parents' house. Whenever the joker would come up, he would always shout out "poilu, poilu!!" We would all laugh because none of us knew why and he wouldn't tell us. He used to sing my name as a chant as well, "Jenny, Jenny, Jenny" and just had a way of making me smile. However, I will forever be grateful to him for sitting with me at my grandfather's bedside at the foyer, the evening before he passed. Uncle Norm's quiet and peaceful presence that evening lent both myself and my grandfather (his brother Leo) strength and calm. Je t'aime mon oncle ❤. My condolences to my aunt Renette and the family.
