Obituary of William Ezeckiel McGillivary

It is with great sadness that the family of William McGillivary announce his death on September 14, 2021, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Glenda for almost 34 years. Cherished father of Alison (Oscar), Trevor, Anthony and Colin. Treasured Granddad of Nathan, Renale and Makeda. William will forever be in the hearts of his siblings; Dowlin (Cynthia), Gloria, Anthony (Tessa), Fitzroy and Ann.  Predeceased by his parents Hosten Caton & Monica McGillivary as well as his sister Molina and brother Joseph.

William treasured his time sailing the seas aboard cruise ships with his wife Glenda.  He enjoyed music, BBQ with family in the summer, looking at and discussing golf with his friend Les and played occasionally and doing crossword puzzles in every newspaper he got his hands on.  William looked forward to his Sunday phone call with his cousin Roy until he was no longer able to express himself.

The family will receive friends and family at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
