Fern Bourque passed away at the Welland Hospital on Tuesday, Sept 14, 2021 at the age of 83.
In his younger years he played baseball, hockey and raced stock cars, and coached hockey for 25 years. He worked with cars, trucks and motors all his life until illness stopped him. He restored many old rust buckets into beautiful classic old cars that he showed off at many car shows in Canada and the U.S. In later years he raced go-karts.
Fern is survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanie (Sydor), daughter Kathy, son Alan and many Bourque cousins. At Fern’s request, cremation has taken place.
