Obituary of Paul Emile Garant
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Garant, at Oakwood Park Lodge on August 2, 2021 at the age of 77. Cherished dad of Line (Blake), and Kristen (Phil). He will be sadly missed by his 3 grandchildren; Evan, Camille and Marlee. Loving brother of Madeleine, Jeannine, and André (Rose). He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Honoré & Alice Garant and his siblings Marie-Ange (late Yves), Adrienne (late Léo), Réjaenne, Fernande and Léo (Germaine).
Paul was a very social man, known to his friends as “Paul EG”. He had a long career in retail; fitting suits for all of Niagara’s businessmen. He enjoyed travelling to Florida and spending time on the beach, barbecuing, and going fishing. Paul loved to make people laugh, and live life to the fullest.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. The family would appreciate memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
