Obituary of Rose Lafleur
It is with saddened hearts the family of Rose Lafleur (née Carrier) announce her death on July 14, 2021, at the age of 94. Loving mother of Marcel (Huguette)Blais, Fernand (Lucie) Blais, Serge (Leonnette), Claude Blais, Gerald (Claire) Blais, Diane (Marcel) Laprise and Aline (Michel) Carreau. She will be sadly missed by her 17 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great-grandchildren. Rose is predeceased by her parents Arthur and Angelina Carrier, her husband Patrick Lafleur and her son Donald Blais.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main Street, Welland on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Private service will follow. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. Those that attend are required to wear a mask and follow social distancing guidelines. The funeral home’s capacity is at 25% and lining-up and cycling of guests will be managed by the funeral home staff both indoors and outdoors. In memory of Rose, donations to Foyer Richelieu would be appreciated by the family.
