Obituary of Léopold Larocque
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Léopold Larocque on March 21, 2021 at Welland General Hospital at the age of 82. Beloved husband of Gilberte (née Guighard) for 57 years. Cherished father of Daniel (Karen), Linda (Rolland), Marcel (Pamela) and Sylvia (Daniel). He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews, 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Mary-May (late Paul), Mercella and Marie (René). Predeceased by his parents Ernest and Dora (née Chiasson) & his siblings Eloi, Leon, Azade and Ezilda.
Will be greatly missed by many friends and family from home in New Brunswick.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to WELLAND FUNERAL HOME. Keeping with Léopold’s wishes cremation has taken place. A private celebration will take place at a later date. Memorial donations would be appreciated by the family to The Heart Stroke Foundation.
