Obituary of Donat Boutin

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donat Boutin announce his passing at the Foyer Richelieu on March 12th, 2015 in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Anita (Holmes). Loving father of Lise (Michel Charrois) and Diane (Louis Fortier). He will be sadly missed by his 6 grandchildren: Nathalie, Kevin, Kyle, Sara, Emilie and Chantal. Dear brother of Raymond, Gérard (Lise Mathieu), Roger (Marthe Ménard), Laurette (Léo Thérrien), Jeanne Thibodeau, Rita (Alain Leduc), Yvette (Jean-Louis Caron). Also leaving behind brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Émile (Madeleine) Holmes and Victor (Rose) Holmes and Estelle (Bob Asselin) and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Cyril and Elzire (Brochu), his brothers Wilfrid, Fernand, Léonard, Roland, Conrad, Léopold, Armand and sisters Irene, Alice, Marie-Ann, Eveline and Gemma and many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. C'est avec un cœur lourd que la famille de Donat Boutin annonce son décès au Foyer Richelieu le 12 mars 2015 dans sa 89ème année. Époux bien-aimé de feue Anita (Holmes). Père de Lise (Michel Charrois) et Diane (Louis Fortier). Il sera manqué beaucoup par ses 6 petits-enfants : Nathalie, Kevin, Kyle, Sara, Emilie et Chantal. Cher frère de Raymond, Gérard (Lise Mathieu), Roger (Marthe Ménard), Laurette (Léo Thérrien), Jeanne Thibodeau, Rita (Alain Leduc) et Yvette (Jean-Louis Caron). Il laisse aussi plusieurs beaux-frères et belles-sœurs, Émile (Madeleine) Holmes, Victor (Rose) Holmes et Estelle (Bob Asselin), et plusieurs neveux et nièces. Il fut prédécédé par ses parents Cyril et Elzire (Brochu), ses frères, Wilfrid, Fernand, Léonard, Roland, Conrad, Léopold, Armand et soeurs Irene, Alice, Marie-Ann, Eveline et Gemma et nombreux beaux-frères et belles-soeurs. Funeral Details The family will receive their relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main Street, Welland, Saturday (today) from 7-9pm and Sunday, March 15th from 2-4pm and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Église du Sacré Coeur at 11a.m on Monday March 16th. Rite of Committal to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Alzheimer's Society and Canadian Cancer Society will be appreciated by the family. La famille recevra leurs parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Welland, 827 rue Main Est, Welland, samedi (aujourd'hui) 19 h à 21 h et dimanche le 15 mars, de 14 h à 16 h et 19 h à 21 h. La messe des funérailles sera célébrée à l'Église du Sacré Coeur le lundi 16 mars à 11 heures. L'inhumation suivra au cimetière de Holy Cross. En tant qu'expression de sympathie, des dons par chèque à la Société d'Alzheimer et à la Société Canadienne du Cancer. Service Information
