HUARD, Jacques (Jack)- It is with deep sadness that Jack's family announces his passing on April 2, 2015 at the Welland County General Hospital in his 79th year. Loving husband to Betty Ann (Putney) for 57 years. Loving father of Cheryl (Mario) Stranges, Jackie (Wayne) Jaroslawski, Darlene (Alva) Valentine, and Billy (Gaileen) Huard. Cherished grandfather of Craig Stranges, Corey Stranges, Tyler Stranges, Mark Jaroslawski, Paul Jaroslawski, Alyxandria Bell, Elycia Bell, Reise Huard, Colton Huard, and Carlee Huard. Dear great-grandfather of Aurora Bell. Also survived by his sister Doris Fraser, his brothers John (late Lenora) and Andy (Barb), his sister-in-law Doreen, his many nieces and nephews, and Uncle Walter and Aunt Georgie MacFarlane. Pre-deceased by his father William Huard, his mother Germaine Huard, his brother Bob Huard, his mother-in-law Margaret Caram, and his father-in-law John Caram. He will also be dearly missed by the Stranges and Jaroslawski families as well as his best friends Mike Latinovich, John Arbour, and Jack Lauzon. Jack was a huge fan of the Montreal Canadiens and Toronto Blue Jays. He loved watching their games and cherished his visits to Fort Erie Race Track. He also had fond memories of the fishing trips and vacations to the farm house in Quebec. But most of all, he lived for all of the functions and celebrations that he took part in with his family Funeral Details In accordance with Jack's wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to Welland Funeral Home, 827 East Main Street, Welland. A private celebration of Jack's life will be held at a later date.
