Obituary of Jean-Yves Vachon

With saddened hearts, the family of John Vachon announce his passing at the Welland Hospital on Sunday, May 17, 2015 at the age of 70. Loving husband of Monique (Gilbert) Vachon. Loving father of Denise (Billy Jo Pybus) and Jeff (Lisa). Cherished grandfather of Meagan, Sara and Jake. Dear brother of Guy, Rémi (Suzanne), Bruno and Thérèse. Predeceased by his parents André and Marguerite Vachon, his brother Luc and his sister Lise. Funeral Details The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main Street, Welland, Wednesday, May 20th, 2015 from 10 until service time in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. Cremation will follow. As an expression of sympathy, donations by cheque to the Heart & Stroke Foundation will be appreciated by the family. The family would like to extend their many thanks to the Dialysis Department, doctors and nurses from Niagara Health System (Welland and St. Catharines sites) and the Hamilton General Hospital.
