Obituary of Thérèse McAllister

Obituary SOUCY-MCALLISTER, Thérèse. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Thérèse on September 16, 2019. Wife of Clifford McAllister for 34 years. Predeceased by her parents Eugène Soucy and Marie-Rose Lévesque, five brothers and six sisters. She leaves behind her brother Gérard and sisters Louise (Herbert-Smith) and Véronique, her step-children Linda (Mark) DiRaddo and Marc (Silvana) McAllister, her step-grandchildren Lindsay, Michael, Sabrina and Mariette. She will be missed by three generations of nieces and nephews especially her nieces France and Nancy who cared for her these last few months. A special thank you to her friend Suzanne and the wonderful palliative care team. Thérèse was a teacher for ten years in Rimouski and Hauterive PQ and for over thirty years in Port Colborne. She was a founding member of Les Filles D’Isabelle and a devoted member of L’Eglise Sacré-Coeur in Welland, ON. The family will receive friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland, ON Friday, September 27, 2019 from 2 – 4 p.m. and 6 – 8 p.m. The funeral mass will be celebrated at Sacré-Coeur church, 72 Empire Street, Welland ON at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2019. Inurnment will follow at Pleasantview Memorial Gardens, Hwy. 20 Fonthill, ON. Memorial donations can be made to Niagara Health Foundation – St. Catharines Site (Oncology Department).
