Dear Family,
I am so sad to hear that Annette is gone from our lives, though she is still in my mind, my thoughts, my heart. As a City girl in my youth, knowing nothing about barns, living on a farm, its animals,the dangers, she and Douglas opened to me their very interesting world in Verner. Annette was a kind soul, a hard-worker, a friendly, a helpful, spiritual, loving person, a great Mom. My prayers are with you. Unable to attend her service, I wish to extend my sincere sympathy to her lovely children, their family, to André, her brothers and sisters, and tante Annette who raised such a fine person. May she rest in peace, without pain.

How sad to know that Annette died so suddenly. Still young at 72! I was always a City girl; she taught me about her farm, its endearing qualities, its dangers, her love for the outdoors, the animals. I wanted to live with her... All her life, she cared for others, was devout, a friendly soul to so many. My deapest sympathy to her children and their family, her beloved André, her adopted Mom Annette, her brothers and sisters. My prayers and deepest sympathy are with all of you.
