Obituary of Claude Brochu

C'est avec tristesse que nous annonçons le décès de Claude Brochu, le 13 novembre 2015 au Foyer Richelieu, Welland, Ontario, agé de 90 ans. Il était l'époux de Claire (née Ducharme) Brochu, père bien-aimé de Marie-Anne (feu Ernest) Chrétien, Suzanne (Richard) Ranta, Denis Brochu, Hélène Brochu et Pauline (Bruce) Wallace. Claude tiendra une place très précieuse dans le coeur de ses petits enfants, Natasha, Eric, Michelle, Karl et Craig. Claude laisse dans le deuil son frère, Guy de Rhode Island et ses soeurs, Gemma de Port Colborne, Jeanne-Marie Resney de Georgetown et Denise de Chippawa. Claude était prédécédé de ses parents, Achilles et Josephine Brochu, fils, Michel Brochu et de son frère, Léopold. Claude était un Chevalier 4ième degrée avec les Chevaliers de Colomb. Beloved husband of Claire (née Ducharme) Brochu. Cherished father of Marie-Anne (the late Ernest) Chrétien, Suzanne (Richard) Ranta, Denis Brochu, Hélène Brochu and Pauline (Bruce) Wallace. Claude will be forever in the hearts of his grandchildren Natasha, Eric, Michelle, Karl and Craig. Claude will be greatly missed by his brother Guy Brochu of Rhode Island and sisters Gemma Poitras of Port Colborne, Jeanne-Marie Resney of Georgetown and Denise Suja of Chippawa. Claude is predeceased by his parents, Achilles and Joséphine Brochu, his son, Michel Brochu and his brother, Leopold Brochu. Claude was a Fourth Degree Knight with The Knights Of Columbus. Funeral Details La famille recevra la parenté et les amis au Salon Funéraire Welland, 827, rue Main est, Welland, lundi, le 16 novembre de 14h à 16h et de 19h à 21h. Prières à 20h, lundi. La funéraille aura lieu mardi, le 17 novembre à 13h à l'église du Sacre Coeur, 72, rue Empire, Welland. L'inhumation aura lieu à une date ultérieure. Vigil will be held in the funeral home on Monday at 8 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 1 pm at Sacred Heart Church, 72 Empire Street in Welland.
