Obituary of Rhéal Labrosse

It is with saddened hearts that the family of Rhéal Labrosse announce his passing at Douglas H. Rapelje Lodge on January 30, 2016, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of the late Della (Labelle). Loving father to Pierrette (Maurice) Laroche and Richard (Carol) Labrosse. Cherished grandfather of Daniel (Jennifer McQuestion) Laroche, Lisa (Brad) Hodges and great-grandfather to Ashley, Sarah, Katharyn Hodges and Amelia Laroche. Dear brother of Mariette, Rita, Monique, Armand and Louise (Dubé). Predeceased by his parents Norbert and Pamela (Vinette) Labrosse including siblings Rhéa, Thérèse, Alma, Rollande, Maurice and Alfred. Rhéal Labrosse was born in Papineauville, Québec; moved to Welland in 1942 where he was a member of the business community for many years. Rhéal, together with his wife, Della, received the Citizenship Award for volunteer work within the Port Colborne/Welland community. Rhéal was an active member in the Chevaliers de Colomb conseil 8296 and will be sadly missed by many. Special heartfelt thanks go out from Rhéal's family to the caring staff at Rapelje Lodge. Funeral Details In accordance with Rhéal's wishes, cremation has taken place and a private Family Memorial will be held at a later date. If desired, donations to Douglas H.
