Obituary of Gilberte Lafrenière

It is with saddened hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Gilberte (Desforges) Lafrenière on August 21st., 2016 at Bella Senior Care Residence, Chippawa. Beloved wife of the Late Lucien Lafrenière (1999). Cherished mother of Marcel Milot (Dee), Liliane Ruttan (Roger), Denise Milot (Louis Serard), Ghislaine St. Croix (Bill), Diane Seaton (Gary), Annie Lafrenière. She will be forever remembered by her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Alfonse and Delvina (Roy) Desforges, her daughter Madeleine Desmore and son-in-law Gilbert, 7 brothers and 3 sisters. In accordance with Gilberte's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland, Thursday, August 25th from 12 until service time at 1p.m. in the chapel. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
