I am privileged to work with someone who I greatly respect and admire. "J.D" is phenomenal, steadfast and brilliant. I can only imagine the wonderful, beautiful family that created and supports him. My thoughts are with all of you during this challenging time and I look forward to getting to know you through the coming years. I hope that you do not mind, but I will be making a donation at the NIagara Hospice in memory of Robert. I picture him as a wonderful, warm, engaging human being, because that is what I see in his son. With my very best wishes, Faye

My sympathies to Gail and the Mowat family.
I too was lucky enough to have worked with Bruce.
He introduced me to the Big Apple as a younger colleague and was gracious in every respect.

I remember Robert as a real gentleman and a kind and loving father to his children and especially to Jen, my daughter Stephanie's best friend. He will certainly be in my prayers and I know there is a special place for him in everyone's memories who were lucky enough to have known him. To Gail and the whole family, please accept my sincerest sympathies. He will be missed.

My sincere sympathies to Bruce's family. I had the opportunity to work with Bruce for several years at the Old Granary in Oakville. We shared a common interest in music and he often described his passion for opera in such detail. I remember how proudly he displayed his wife's paintings at the office. it was such a pleasure to just chat with him.

Dear Gail and the Whole Mowat Family, I learned earlier today of Bruce's passing. I am truly sorry and wish to send condolences to you all. Bruce was an early mentor of mine in the investment business, starting back in 1985. We became very close friends as the years have sped by, and our phone conversations have always been fun, interesting, and stimulating. I will miss Bruce very much, and I will help to keep his memory very much alive. Bruce became a religious man in later years, which I am sure gave him comfort through the last period of his physical life. I hope you too find some comfort and good thoughts going forward. G-d Bless, and warm regards, Rob

I met Bruce through my husband back in Montreal. Years later, he became our investment advisor until his retirement last year. He sounded very happy with his and Gail's decision to move and settle in the small town of Fonthill. I'm sad that he did not enjoy a longer and well-deserved retirement.
To Gail and family, please accept my sincere condolences. He will be deeply missed. I have lost a friend.
