Obituary of Ann DiMarco

It is with great sadness the family of Ann DiMarco announce her passing on Sunday October 9th, 2016 at the NHS (Welland Site) in her 90th year. Predeceased by her husband Sam (2013), Ann is survived by her children David (Cheryl), Donna (Norm), Debra (Fred) and Anthony (Mary). Grams will be sadly missed by her grandchildren David Jr., Kerri-Ann, Andrea, Jennifer, Erin, Angela, Nicholas and Justin. Gramma-Gramma was muched loved by her great grandchildren Sammy, Sera, Alexander, Emilio, Jake, Ella, Antonio, Myla, Gia, Reese, Isabel and Lane. Survived by her brother Joseph, sisters-in-law Olga Marischuk, Norma Heximer, brothers-in-law Dave DiMarco, Vince Mannella and Ralph Mannella and many nieces and nephews. Ann was the daughter of the late Antonio and Carmela Colangelo of Port Colborne. Family and friends are welcomed to pay their respects on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland from 11 am until service time in the chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. The family would like to thank caregivers Marites Matutino, Lovelyn Silvano and her niece Marie Hansen for their care and affection they provided for our Mother while she resided at home, and also to the staff at Royal Rose long term care facility for the past 4 months. Our heartfelt appreciation is extended to the Welland Hospital Emergency Ward, Intensive Care Unit and the 6th floor staff for the exceptional care our mother received until her passing. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church would be appreciated by the family. Service Information
