Obituary of Giacomo Mancuso

With family by his side Giacomo "Jack" Mancuso in his 69th year on Saturday October 22, 2016 fell gently into eternal rest. Beloved husband and best friend of Teresa Paonessa. Cherished father of Salvatore (Sam) and Anna Mancuso of Welland. Forever in the heart of his granddaughter Courtney Mancuso. Dear son of Salvatore Mancuso of Italy and beloved papa of Matteo and Andreas Leung. Lovingly remembered by his siblings Giuseppina (the late Bruno) Vinci and Maria (Carlo) Siranni of Italy Jack will be missed by his aunt Maria and uncle Raffaele (Ralph) Mancuso of Welland and cousins. Jack is predeceased by his sister Anna Mancuso who passed in 1950. Born in Cicala, Catanzaro Italy he moved to Canada in 1963 and has been a longtime resident of Welland. Jack was a long time employee of J.T.L. Machine Ltd in Port Colborne and retired in 2012. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street Welland on Wednesday October 26 from 10am to 11am for visitation with a funeral mass to follow at St. Andrews the Apostle Catholic Church. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. In memory of Jack, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Andrew's Church or the Walker Family Cancer Centre. The Mancuso Family would like to thank nurses Sherry, Jade and Lauren of St. Elizabeth Nursing for the amazing care, support and love they've provided for Jack and his family during his illness.
