Obituary of Madeleine Rose Gareau

Madeleine left to be with the Lord. Beloved wife of the late Léopold Gareau (1986). Cherished mother of Pauline (Steve Blackier), Thérèse Ciolfi, Suzanne (James Main), Carole (Randy Cooksey) and Marcelle (Mark Tayti). She leaves a legacy of 13 grandchildren; David, Peter, Madeleine, Tammy (1984), Lisa, Adam, Serge, Michelle, Devin, Brooke, Morgan, Elliot, Megan and 22 great grandchildren; Tara, Adam, Kaitlyn, Melanie, Austin, Miranda, Dryden, Maya, Magnus, Maren, Sydney, Airlie, Nyah, Tailem, Nicole, Jessie, Cody, Larson, Roland, Adriel, Sawyer, Benmont and 4 great great grandchildren; Aliya, Hunter, Mason and Aubree. Although Madeleine spent a short time at the Woolcott Wing, the family would like to thank the nursing staff for their compassionate care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland on Sunday, November 27th, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28th, 2016 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Gord Gilmore officiating.
