Obituary of Benoit Raby

It is with great sadness that the family of Benoit Raby announce his passing at the Welland Hospital on Friday, December 2nd, 2016. Devoted husband, he is survived by his loving wife of 67 years Diana (Lacasse) Raby. Loving father of Gaetan Raby (Pauline), Nicole Roy, Lise Cosentino (Joe) and France Raby. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Lé-Anne Ryan, Rachelle Raby, Gaetan Raby Jr., Alain Raby, Lynne Bolduc, Natalie Pépin, Stéphan Roy, Jeffrey Cosentino, Patrycia MacGougan and 16 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Maurice Raby. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Georgianna (Simoneau) Raby, his granddaughter Michelle Beauchamp, great granddaughter Sierra and his many siblings. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland, Tuesday, December 6th, 2016 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Paroisse du Sacré-Coeur on Wednesday, December 7th, 2016 at 11 a.m. Cremation will follow.
