Obituary of Yolande Garbari

GARBARI, Yolande. Sadly the family of Yolande Garbari announces her passing on Tuesday, December 13th 2016, at Royal Rose Place, at the age of 89. She is predeceased by her first husband Rosaire Marois (1970), her second husband Renato (Roy) Garbari (1987) and her long time friend and partner Olivier Dion (2008). She will be forever missed by her daughter Lorraine (Gilles) Beaudry and her son Denis (Julie) Marois. Loving Memere to her grandchildren Monique (Wayne), Marc (Mandy), Kristina (Cameron), Sabrina (Jason) and Becky. Great grandmother and Memere to Amielle, Felix, Brenden, Nicholas, Ethan, Joshua, Andrew and Isabella. Cherished sister of Raynald (Rita) Chasse of Welland, Marcel (Rita) Chasse of Welland, Frances (Don) DeMeester of Enoch Utah, Claire (Yvon) Leblanc of Moncton New Brunswick and Lucille (Walter) Mathews of Sundridge Ontario. She will be fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Eleanor Chasse of Welland and Donna Chasse of Oshawa. Predeceased by her brothers Claude Chasse, Camille Chasse , her sister Gisele Rodrigue and brother-in-law Andre Rodrigue. We want to express a great thank you to the staff at Royal Rose Place. They are some of the most amazing and caring people we have ever met. They treated her like she was their mother and we are sincerely grateful for that. They were always there when we needed help. In keeping with Yolande's wishes cremation has taken place. The family will receive friends and family at the Welland Funeral Home 827 East Main Street in Welland on Monday December 19th from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment of ashes will take place at a later date at Holy Cross Cemetery.
