Obituary of Raymond Paillé
PAILLÉ - Raymond (January 23rd, 1951 - February 14th, 2017)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Raymond Paillé in his home with his family by his side, on February 14th, 2017 at the age of 66. Raymond will be deeply missed by his devoted spouse of forty years, Suzanne (née Lareau), his three loving children Natalie Rainville (Pierre), Joanne Bovine (Kevin) and Daniel Paillé (Dana) followed by six grandchildren Alexandre, Noah, Maxime, Austin, Sophie and Ethan.
He will also be sadly missed by his siblings Monique (Philippe Labrèche), Denise (Gérard Demers), Marcel (Lise), Soeur Lucille Paillé (Soeurs N-D Auxiliatrice), Diane (Bert Lambert), Lionel (Wanita), Jean-Marie (Claudette), Thérèse (Richard Raymond), Jocelyne (Lorne Sidey), Luc (Andrea), Marie (Raymond Perreault), Alain, Julie (Dave Stortz), Pierre (Denise), his mother-in-law Jacqueline Lareau (née Fradette), sisters-in-law Diane Trudeau (Gilbert) and Pauline Lareau, as well as his numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Lucien Paillé and Colette (née Nadeau), his siblings Joanne, Serge, René, and his father-in-law Gérard Lareau. Raymond was born in Rouyn-Noranda and raised in Val Gagné before moving to Welland in 1966. Raymond retired from John Deere in 2009 and always enjoyed time spent with his family along with his life-long passions for golf, hockey and bowling.
A special thank you to Juravinski Cancer Centre, Welland Hospital Auxiliary Dialysis Unit, Niagara CCAC, Saint Elizabeth Health Care, CarePartners and Niagara South Palliative Team. In keeping with Raymond's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland on Friday February 17th from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Église du Sacré-Coeur, 72 Empire St, Welland on Saturday February 18th at 11:00 a.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations can be made to Juravinski Cancer Centre or One Foundation (Welland Dialysis Unit).Charitable donations may be made to:
