Obituary of Ronald Cloutier

At his daughters residence with his loving family at his side on February 19th, 2017, Ronald passed away peacefully 9 days short of his 77th year. He will be greatly missed by his four children Lynda Ballantyne (Don), Faye Sager, Veronica Cloutier and Dennis Cloutier and his first wife Mavis Cloutier and his 2 step children Donna Rugamus (Raul) and Laura Catillo. He leaves behind his 11 grandchildren; Eddy O'Neill, Tabatha O'Neill, Steven Scott, Stephanie Scott, Dennis James Sager, Chrystal Sager, Jeremy Cloutier, Travis Cloutier, Carissa Cloutier, Christopher Cloutier and Jamie Cloutier and his great grandchildren; Caleb, Eddie Jr., Patten, Mariah, Damion, Desiree, Jacob, Steven Jr., Riley, Kelsey, Aria, (unborn baby coming soon), Landon, James, Jack, David, Aiden, Emily, Nicholas and Dominic. Dear brother of Rejean "Reg" Cloutier (Sandy). Predeceased by his parents Romeo and Dora (Noel) Cloutier and one sister Dianne Muise. Ronald was born in Timmins, Ontario in 1940 and moved to Welland where he was a self employed painter. He loved playing pool and was on a pool and dart league. He had a green thumb and loved landscaping and watching the flowers grow. He had a large collection of frog ornaments. He loved music, was a beautiful dancer and played the guitar. As a hobby he owned a P.T. Cruiser and won and placed in car shows. Ron and his late wife were members of the P.T. Cruiser club. His late wife Lynne was the first women to win in a car show in Lewiston, U.S.A. and received the key to the city. Ronald loved that about her. His favorite diner was Phils diner in Niagara Falls. He was also an associate member of the retired Chapter Unifor local 199 and received a certificate of merit from the Royal Canadian Legion. He helped anyone and everyone who needed it, and was well loved by everyone who met him. He loved spending time with family and friends. He had a wonderful sense of humor and loved to cheer you up and make you laugh. His smile and huge heart was contagious. He made a huge impact on everyone he came across. Thank you to the wonderful C.C.A.C. organization for all the love and care they provided, no words could express our gratitude. In keeping with Ronald's wishes, cremation has taken place.
