Pepère will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren; Sarah, Robyn, Arienne, Richard and Markus. Claude was born into a large family in Ste. Anne des Monts, Quebec, raised in Welland. He was often sought for his expertise and ability to customize to suit any need. He enjoyed his retirement and often played golf at Whiskey Run golf course in Port Colborne.
He made many friends through the activities he enjoyed; baseball, hockey, fishing, bowling and golf. He will be deeply missed by lifelong friends, the Euchre party gang, work friends, neighbours and fellow parishioners from Sacré Coeur church.
His children will remember him for instilling a strong work ethic, his sense of humour, love of travel and faith, which carried him in good and difficult times. Although he was never afraid to express his opinion he was also very generous and always willing to lend a hand. As an expression of sympathy, donations to World Vision or Kids Development Society at kidsdevelopmentsociety.org would be appreciated by the family.
