Obituary of Ghislaine Doucet

Passed away at the Niagara Health System - Port Colborne Site on August 11th, 2017, Ghislaine Doucet (nee Martin) at the age of 57. Cherished mother of Tim Cutler, Michelle Doucet and Sarah Doucet. Forever missed by her 2 grandchildren; Tanner and Hannah. Dear sister of Roger Michaud (Gisèle) and Bertrand Martin (Elly). "G" will be sadly missed by her second family at Convergys. Predeceased by her parents Enoil and Célina Martin. Born on January 12, 1960 in Edmunston, New Brunswick and moved to the Niagara Region at a young age. She later worked at Convergys Canada for several years. In her spare time, she'd volunteer at Youth Bowling Canada where she became an active member of their council. She had a love for animals and an avid fan of the Buffalo Sabres and the Toronto Blue Jays. A special thanks to the CCAC nurses Jocelyn, Trina and Colleen, Dr. Ruo and the team at Juravinski Cancer Centre and to the nurses on the 4th and 6th floor of the Welland Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit of Port Colborne Hospital for the dignified care given to our mom in her final days. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland on Saturday, August 19th, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. until service time at 11:30 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
