Obituary of Richard L'Italien

Surrounded by the love of his family, Richard passed away peacefully at the St. Catharines General Hospital on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at the age of 64. He leaves behind his brothers Paul Andre (Brenda), Claude (Esther), Marcel (Marguerite), and Jack (Connie); his sisters Claudette (Bazil) Young, and Colette (late Matt) Gleason and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Polydor and Alfreda (Begin) L’Italien, his brother Serge and twin brother Gilles. The family would like to thank Dr. Kim and Dr. Sangha; as well as nurses Kailin, Tenille, Marny, Bobbie and Euriny for their compassion and care. Thank you to the Welland Funeral Home for your guidance during this difficult time. In accordance with Richard's wishes, cremation has taken place. The family will welcome their relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland Wednesday, September 20th, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. Private interment will be held at a later date.
