Obituary of Gaston Paré

Obituary It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gaston Paré at the Foyer Richelieu on February 6, 2018 at the age of 86. Beloved husband of Aline and father of Diane, Denis (Hélène) and Daniel (Alyson). Much loved grandfather of Brian, Anne (Kelly), Linda and Léah. Proud great-grandfather of Patrick. He also leaves two brothers, Benoit (Ghislaine) and Yvon (Adrienne), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Eva (Tanguay), three brothers and two sisters. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Paroisse Sacré Coeur, 72 Empire St., Welland. A special thank-you to the nurses and staff at Foyer Richelieu long term care facility who took care of him during the last year and a half of his life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Parkinson Canada or the Foyer Richelieu would be greatly appreciated.
