Obituary of Thérèse Labbé

Obituary With saddened hearts, the family of Thérèse (Carrier) Labbé announces that she went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, March 13th, 2018 at the Foyer Richelieu. Our Mom lived a full life to the age of 89; she is now reunited with her soul mate Gérard Labbé (2012). She is survived by her loving children, Norm (Susan Ward) Labbé, Marcel (Lucie) Labbé, Lyne (Richard) Trudel and Sylvie (William) Dalziel. Cherished grandmother of Miranda (David), Mark, Jolene, Micah, Levi (Nia), Spencer, Ashley, Chelsea, Mélanie, Emily, Janelle and her great-grandchild Aisling. Predeceased by her parents Louis and Ludivine Carrier (Lapointe). Thérèse was known for her generous and caring heart towards her family and friends. She devoted her life to the care of her children and grandchildren. She has left us with a lifetime of beautiful memories and she leaves us with a legacy of FAITH and the generations to come. Until we meet again! The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME, 827 East Main Street, Welland on Saturday, March 17th, 2018 at 2 p.m. followed by a celebration service to honor Thérèse at 3 p.m. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Foyer Richelieu and Alzeimers Association will be greatly appreciated. The family wishes to extend their appreciation to the staff of the Foyer Richelieu, who lovingly cared for our dearly loved mother and grandmother in her last days.
