Obituary of Elisabeth Daigle

Obituary Suddenly, at the Welland Hospital on March 25th, 2018 Elisabeth (nee Pinard) Daigle passed away at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late Fernand Daigle (2004). Cherished mother of the late Donald (2003), Denis (Judith), Johanne (the late Graham 2018), Marc (Nicole) and ''adopted daughter'' Jackie. She will be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren; Andrew (Ashley), Myles, Lynne (Lawrence), Sr.Julie s.s.m.n., Mathew, Elizabeth and 4 great grandchildren; Zachary, Lilly, Adam and Dakota as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Henri Wilfrid and Elisabeth (nee Marquis) Pinard, 3 sisters; Marie-Rose, Florence and Germaine and her 6 brothers; Lucien, Léopold, Wilfrid, Edouard, Armand, Maurice. Elisabeth volunteered many hours at Club Renaissance and the Foyer Richelieu and was actively involved in her parish as a Eucharistic Minister, reader and was a member of Cursillo. Her great faith in God, zest for life, sense of humour, love of family and children defined who she was. The family wants to thank the staff of Foyer Richelieu for all the years of compassion and wonderful care. The family will receive relatives and friends at the WELLAND FUNERAL HOME 827 East Main St., Welland on Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Funeral service will be held at Paroisse Sacré Coeur 72 Empire St., Welland on Wednesday, April 4th, 2018 at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery.
